  7. By providing common low-level routines for maintaining accounts and creating
  8. journal entries GL-CORE allows accounting systems to be created with Informix
  9. I-4GL that can include integrated General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts
  10. Payable, Payroll, and Inventory Control functions. GL-CORE consists of the
  11. essential sub-routines and screens needed to create and implement an accounting
  12. system. Also included in GL-CORE are: Data Maintenance Programs, General
  13. Journal Reports, and Chart of Accounts Reports. Features of SSS GL-CORE
  14. include: Post-less data structures which let the system calculate accurate
  15. account balances at any time. Flexible account trees which are completely soft
  16. and will adapt to the wishes of any accountant! All screens use query by
  17. example features to look up accounts, journal entries, payments, etc. Source
  18. code is written in Informix I-4GL for easy adaptation and implementation.
